Nordic Horizon Institute works to foster the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems. We cultivate organic research, education, and federal policies that bring more farmers and acreage into organic production.

The ultimate goal of Nordic Horizon Institute is to reduce disruption and damage from climate change and to safeguard economic development and poverty eradication efforts over the long-term.

NHI is:

• Improving agricultural scientific understanding of climate variability and change across Europe and the impact of climate change on specific agriculture development decisions.
• Ensuring that decision-makers are able to incorporate relevant sustainable agriculture information when making key decisions in medium to long-term (5-40 year) agriculture/climate resilient plans and investments.
