This project aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) and local authorities to ensure the effective implementation of the EU directive and national transposition laws. Additionally, it seeks to raise public awareness about whistleblowers’ rights and reporting channels, fostering a culture of accountability and environmental protection.
Objectives
- Strengthen the capacity of CSOs and local authorities to enforce whistleblowing and environmental protection laws.
- Raise public awareness of whistleblower rights and reporting channels.
- Collect, document, and promote good practices related to whistleblowing and environmental governance.
- Facilitate cooperation among CSOs, authorities, and policymakers to improve accountability.
- Develop tools and resources to support whistleblowers and stakeholders.
Expected Results
- Enhanced capacity of CSOs and local authorities to implement whistleblowing laws effectively.
